La Tormenta Perfecta

En Costa Rica, una tormenta paso por el pais que mato a 23 personas. On Friday, residents of the country were busy cleaning up the ruins that the storm left behind. According to the story posted on CNN.com, 800,000 people were left without safe water. All of the casualties have left the country in mourning.

Pan de Muerto es el pan del celebracion. Es un pan muy rico y dulce, perfecciona para la tradicion. Tambien, es hecho para parecerse a craneos a veces.

Esta es la tiempo para celebracion. Este fin de semana, pais de hispanola y mexicana celebran el tradicion de Dia de Los Muertos. Los gentes respetan sus miembros de familias muertos.

Mi favorito dulce!

Este dulce es llama Mexican Brownies. Son hechos con canela y pimento picante. The cinnamon and pepper give it just a little extra flavor but definitely make these brownies stand out.

Freed prisoners

El Jueves, Cuba liberto a cinco presos. After the reign of Fidel Castro, the catholic church began to release "political opposition leader" prisoners. President Obama gave his input saying that it was a positive change; releasing the political prisoners. Cuba is hoping for a lot of change in the future.

Fajitas de pez

Estos fajitas son hechos con pez, limon, y salsa verde. Staying true to it's mexican heritage, these fajitas are made with mahi mahi and a salsa of traditional tomatillos. Avocados and limes help to give a contrasting flavor that balance out eachother.

Chilean mine rescue

Entonces este tarde, algunos de los mineros estan a salvo. Thirty-three Chilean miners were trapped during a mining accident for 69 days. However, they are now being rescued. Many of the men have been mining for their entire life so they say they will not give up their career; even after this.
